The LA Galaxy was looking for their first win of the season after losing the home opener last week 2-0 against San Diego FC. This week they had to fly to Vancouver Canada and play the Whitecaps, which wasn’t going to be an easy task.
The reigning champs were looking for the 3 points, but just shortly in the 2nd min the Whitecaps got their first goal of the game. The goal was scored by left back Sam Adekugbe #3. The play began with a run from the Ecuadorian footballer Pedro Vite #45 which then crosses the ball and lands on the feet of Adekugbe #3 and slots in for the first of the night.

Gabriel PEC TO THe rescue
The Los Angeles Galaxy started picking up after they conceded, they started to get some plays out to their winger Gabriel Pec. Gabriel Pec #11 is known for his pace and very skilled dribbling and can get on the scoresheet at anytime given. Gabriel Pec #11 was huge for the la galaxy last year.
Just shortly after a couple runs from Pec on the right side, Whitecaps had problems holding pec down as they just couldn’t contain him which caused many fouls for them.
Right before the half Miguel Berry #27 forward for the Galaxy had a run on the left side which just right before running out of bounce he knocks a pass into the area which falls in the penalty spot for Gabriel Pec which then he equalizes the score. Gabriel Pec gets the first one for the LA Galaxy in the 39th min.

Brian white seals it 2-1
In the second half the game was pretty much both ways, causing both teams many scares. Game also got pretty intense which caused the referee to give plenty of yellows for both sides.
Towards the end of the game in the 87th min Striker Brian White #24 gets the second one for the Whitecaps. A perfect cross from Pedro Vite #45 finds Brian White #24 in the box which then he headers in for the goal.
That was the second assist for the Ecuadorian Pedro Vite #45. Certainly had and outstanding performance for the Whitecaps. Vancouver proceeded to win the game 2-1 and took the three points.
